COMMUNITY ART CENTER

The converted church and community arts center at 5 East Second Street will house public art projects, an office for the Arts Council’s Public Art Program Manager, and will also serve as a venue to hold Sky Stage events during the winter. The arts center is also intended to provide the Arts Council with further downtown street-level space and community presence.

The space is intended to function as place for public arts experiences both inside and outside the building and will complement the gallery program at 11 West Patrick.

An artist-in-residence as well as theater company, Endangered Species (theatre) Project, and information about FAC members are housed on the first floor.
