A Tribute to the Patriots

The 250 trees along the DAR Pathway of the Patriots serve as a living tribute to honor the memory and the spirit of the men and women who achieved American Independence.

The Pathway borders the 25-mile Schuylkill River Trail. The trail begins at Bartram’s Garden, the oldest surviving botanical garden in North America and continues to Valley Forge National Historical Park, winter encampment site for the Continental Army.
